      Misexpression of abd-AHX.UA.Scer\UAS within NB-5-6 in the thorax, under the control of Scer\GAL4lbe.K results in an early lineage truncation, mimicking the situation that normally occurs in the abdomen, ultimately leading to a smaller thoracic NB5-6 lineage size.

      Expression of abd-AHX.UA.Scer\UAS in the thorax using the Scer\GAL4how-24B driver induces abdominal specific muscle patterns in the thoracic segments.

      Expression of abd-AHX.UA.Scer\UAS in the tracheal system under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS does not suppress formation of the tracheal cerebral branch.

      Expression of abd-AHX.UA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS suppresses the formation of a stereotypical trapezoidal arrangement of larval denticle belts, compared to wild-type.

      Expression of abd-AHX.TD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS mildly restricts larval abdominal peristalsis (locomotion).
