      Nearly all of the AxnS044230 (maternal-/zygotic-) mutant embryos expressing maternally provided AxnL447S.αTub84B.T:Zzzz\FLAG die prior to hatching.

      The cuticle of AxnS044230 mutant (maternal-/zygotic-) embryos expressing maternally provided AxnL447S.αTub84B.T:Zzzz\FLAG shows loss of denticles.

      Zygotic AxnS044230 mutants receiving maternally deposited wild-type Axn and expressing AxnL447S.αTub84B.T:Zzzz\FLAG fail to survive to adulthood.

      Expression of maternally provided AxnL447S.αTub84B.T:Zzzz\FLAG decreases the hatching rate of embryos to 89.3%.

      Zygotic expression of AxnL447S.αTub84B.T:Zzzz\FLAG is lethal.
