      Low-level expression of jumuScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB at 25[o]C produces a rough eye phenotype caused by formation of extra photoreceptor cells in the majority of ommatidia. Both inner R7-like and outer photoreceptor cells are formed. Ectopic expression also results in extra bristles on the thorax and extra wing veins. High-level expression of jumuScer\UAS.cSa by heatshock induction causes lethality.
