7 days old SH3PX1d1/SH3PX1HK62b transheterozygotes display a severe increase in the number of mitotic cells (phospho-H3 staining) in the adult midgut, as compared to SH3PX1d1 heterozygous controls.

Autophagic compartments are fewer and smaller in homozygous clones of fat body cells in larvae after starvation compared to those seen in wild-type cells under these conditions.
