Expression of Hsap\HNRNPA2B1D290V.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW does not result in cytoplasmic inclusions in the indirect flight muscle.

Expression of Hsap\HNRNPA2B1Scer\UAS.cKa in the indirect flight muscles under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PU leads to mild degeneration affecting the rostral portion of several muscles.

The additional expression of Hsap\HNRNPA2B1Scer\UAS.cKa leads to partial decreases in the severity of the eye defects either resulting from the Scer\GAL4GMR.PS-driven expression of Zzzz\UGGAAW.Scer\UAS alone or the combined expression of Zzzz\UGGAAW.Scer\UAS and TBPHGD6943 (i.e. reduced size, loss of pigmentation, defective morphology and ommatidial abnormalities).

The co-expression of Hsap\HNRNPA2B1Scer\UAS.cKa rescues the lethality resulting from the co-expression of Zzzz\UGGAAS.Scer\UAS and TBPHGD6943 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PS; the rescued adults exhibit significantly less severe eye phenotypes, as compared to individuals only expressing Zzzz\UGGAAS.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PS.
