Flies expressing Mmus\PrnpM205S.M212S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 have similar survival curves to control flies.
Adults expressing Mmus\PrnpM205S.M212S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4BG380 show similar climbing ability to control flies.
Young flies expressing Mmus\PrnpM205S.M212S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 have thinner mushroom body dorsal projections than normal that lack the terminal caps. This phenotype does not change significantly as the flies age.
Flies co-expressing both Mmus\PrnpWT.Scer\UAS and Mmus\PrnpM205S.M212S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 show a strong developmental defect in the mushroom body (seen in young adults) and show a stronger mushroom body degenerative phenotype than seen in flies expressing Mmus\PrnpWT.Scer\UAS alone.
