Description

A ~2.2kb fragment of the ftz upstream region (which contains the neurogenic element), followed by the ftz basal promoter and 5'UTR drives expression of a mutated ftz coding sequence in which the ftz homeodomain has been replaced by the Tcas\ftz homeodomain. This is fused to the ftz 3'UTR, and 200bp from downstream of the polyA signal.
