Expression of Snap25R206D.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 decreases the frequency of miniature end plate potentials and evoked junction potentials. This is not accompanied by a reduction in the quantum amplitude of mEPPs. The presence of Snap25R206D.Scer\UAS does not appear to reduce the probability of formation of the SNARE supercomplex, but its capability to mediate vesicle fusion.
Neuromuscular junctions expressing Snap25R206D.Scer\UAS display a Ca[2+] concentration dependency equal to that of the wild-type neuromuscular junctions.
