Description

Both a 'CACGUG' and a 'GUGCAC ' sequence have been added into the conserved intronic HP structure found within intron 19 of para, introducing a destabilizing PacI site into each side of the HP stem. A 76bp fragment containing a single loxP site is also inserted within para intron 19.
