      Larvae expressing MioVDRC.cUa in the fat body (via Scer\GAL4Cg.PA, and in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa) are unable to tolerate a high sugar diet of 1M sucrose. When reared on 0.7M sucrose, larvae are smaller, contain less TAG, have reduced lipid storage in their fat bodies, and exhibit increased hemolymph glucose compared with controls.
