Flies expressing Disc\RFPmCherry.ppk29.3'UTR under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 show more rapid paralysis in response to acute heat stress than wild-type controls.

Flies expressing Disc\RFPmCherry.ppk29.3'UTR under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.Switch.PO during the adult stage only (using RU486 to control the timing of expression) show more rapid paralysis in response to acute heat stress than wild-type controls.

Reference

The more rapid paralysis in response to acute heat stress seen in flies expressing Disc\RFPmCherry.ppk29.3'UTR under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 is suppressed if they are also co-expressing Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa.

Complementation and Rescue Data
Comments

The increased time to total paralysis in response to heat stress which is seen in ppk29f06838 flies is partially rescued by expression of Disc\RFPmCherry.ppk29.3'UTR under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155.
