Re-integration of DNA into the attP site present in wgKO. The reintegrated sequence is as follows: 1. an FRT cassette containing 'Nrt-wg' (a membrane-tethered, Tag:HA-tagged form of wg in which Tag:M(Nrt) acts as the membrane tethering sequence), 2: sequence encoding a QF driver, and 3: a loxP cassette containing the Disc\RFPmCherry.3xP3 marker. In addition, a recombined attP/B site is present 5' to the reintegrated sequence.
When grown without overcrowding, homozygous flies are viable and have normally patterned appendages and other cuticular structures. When grown together with control siblings, homozygous flies show a reduced eclosion rate
Homozygous larvae show a developmental delay, entering pupariation later than controls.
