Description

Imprecise excision of the progenitor P{PTT-GB}bocksCB03586 insertion, resulting in a deletion that extends upstream from the original insertion site at +11 in bocks (this results in a lack of bocks protein expression in the mutant). The deletion removes the first promoter of the upstream CG8312 gene and only 225bp of sequence remain upstream of the second promoter. CG8312 RNA levels are reduced in mutant larvae.
