      Expression of CycB5E.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 results in a high percentage of 32-cell cysts containing an oocyte with five ring canals. These 32-cell cysts are also generated by the formation of stem cell cysts rather than a fifth division - branched fusomes and synchronous stem cell divisions are found in 55% of germaria.

      Expression of CycB5E.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4bam.T:Hsim\VP16 generates a wild-type phenotype.
