Expression of ScrΔocta.LASCY.CTD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PU results in ectopic T1 beards and salivary glands. Ectopic tarsi are seen when ScrΔocta.LASCY.CTD.Scer\UAS is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PU.
The antennae of flies expressing ScrΔocta.LASCY.CTD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4pb.PJ are not wild type but do not exhibit an obvious transformation to proboscis identity. Patches of tricombless, convoluted cuticle are seen at higher temperatures.
