      Expression starts in spermatocytes and appears cytoplasmic. Following meiotic division, nuclear expression is detected. Expression persists during spermatid elongation and is strongest in late elongating spermatid nuclei while the cytoplasmic signal fades. No expression is observed in mature sperm.
