Partial duplication of the Dscam1 gene. The structure of the duplication is as follows; genomic Dscam1 sequences from the beginning to the transcription unit through to and including exon 16, a single FRT site, a w[+] marker, genomic Dscam1 sequences from part way through the variable exon 9 cluster through to the end of the transcription unit.
