HemK2GD17714, Scer\GAL4Tub.PU, SnapinGD17714 has lethal - all die during pupal stage phenotype
HemK2GD17714, Scer\GAL4Tub.PU, SnapinGD17714 has abnormal neurophysiology | larval stage | drug conditional phenotype
Expression of P{GD17714} (which down-regulates expression of both Snapin and CG9960) under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU results in pupal lethality.
Co-expression of SnapinScer\UAS.cDa restores presynaptic homeostatic plasticity after application of PhTx in larvae expressing P{GD12574} (which down-regulates expression of both Snapin and CG9960) in the nervous system (under the simultaneous control of both Scer\GAL4elav-C155 and Scer\GAL4sca.PC), indicating that knock-down of Snapin, and not CG9960 is responsible for the presynaptic homeostatic plasticity defect seen when P{GD12574} is expressed in the nervous system.
