The RMCE cassette of the Mi{MIC}PtpmegMI08056 insertion has been replaced with a EGFP-FlAsH-StrepII-TEV-3xFlag multi-tag cassette. The insertion is in Ptpmeg. It was within a coding intron of the Ptpmeg gene according to a previous FlyBase gene annotation release, but is in an intron between two exons in the 5' UTR in the r6.06 annotation set. The protein trap cassette is in the proper orientation to tag the Ptpmeg gene if it is inserted in a coding intron of the gene. The insertion is also within mthl10, not in a coding intron, and is not predicted to protein trap this gene.
