      Compared to wild type (pupate around day 5, eclose around day 10), Tcs37A9/Df(3L)ED220 exhibit an extended larval period prior to lethality (viability: 98%, 93% pupation at day 8) and a small percentage have melanotic masses ('black spots': 2%).
