      Expression of Rbfox1dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T driven by Scer\GAL4nos.PU leads to a germ cell tumor phenotype (accumulation of germline cysts that fail to differentiate beyond early stages). Scer\GAL4bam.PU>Rbfox1dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T egg chambers contain fewer polyploid nurse cells (around 25% of egg chambers) and have germ cell tumors (around 75%) (compared to 100%/0% in controls).
