Comments

12 copies of a histone repeat unit containing the His3HisGU.K115R.K122R mutation (flies contain 4 copies of PBac{3xHisGU.H3K115R.H3K122R}) fails to rescue the embryonic lethality of Df(2L)HisC homozygotes.

12 copies of a histone repeat unit containing the His3HisGU.K115R.K122R mutation (flies contain 4 copies of PBac{3xHisGU.H3K115R.H3K122R}) only partially rescue the severe growth defect seen in homozygous Df(2L)HisC clones in the wing disc; the rescued clones are significantly smaller than their twin spots (which are heterozygous for Df(2L)HisC).
