nemy26.2/nemy26.2 third instar larvae show a small significant increase in the amplitude of miniature excitatory junction potentials (mEJPs), but no difference in mEJP frequency, at the neuromuscular junction (NMJ) compared to controls. nemy26.2/nemy26.2 larvae show similar amplitude of evoked EJPs and a significant decrease in quantal content compared to controls. nemy26.2/nemy26.2 larvae have a significant decrease in bouton number at the NMJ compared to controls. Controls show mild paired pulse potentiation at short inster-stimulus intervals; this paired pulse potentiation is enhanced in nemy26.2/nemy26.2 larvae.
