E(spl)m5-HLH^Q127stop/Df(3R)BSC751 (but not E(spl)m5-HLH^C37S/E(spl)m5-HLH^Q127stop or E(spl)m5-HLH^Q127stop/E(spl)m5-HLH^K72stop) mutant embryos display a significant increase in the number of Ap neurons, and E(spl)m5-HLH^Q127stop/Df(3R)BSC751 mutants display a significant increase in the number of EL neurons, as compared with controls.
