Ctr9KO/Df(3L)BSC250 transheterozygotes and Ctr9KO homozygotes are lethal.
Mosaic germaria containing Ctr9KO germline or follicle stem cell clones are present at similar proportions over time, as compared to germaria containing control germline or follicle stem cell clones, respectively; Ctr9KO homozygous germline clones within the germarium do not exhibit obvious nuclear morphology defects and the resulting developing egg chambers display an apparently normal morphology up until mid-oogenesis, when they degenerate, as compared to controls; Ctr9KO follicle stem clones within developing egg chambers do not show any obvious phenotype, as compared to controls.
Ctr9KO/Df(3L)BSC250 has lethal phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4da.PU/Hsap\CTR9UAS.Tag:HA
Ctr9KO/Df(3L)BSC250, Hsap\CTR9UAS.Tag:HA, Scer\GAL4da.PU has sterile phenotype
The lethality of Ctr9KO/Df(3L)BSC250 transheterozygotes is rescued by the expression of Hsap\CTR9Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU, but the resulting females are sterile despite laying eggs.
Ctr9KO/Df(3L)BSC250 is rescued by Ctr9UAS.cCa/Scer\GAL4da.PU
The lethality of Ctr9KO/Df(3L)BSC250 transheterozygotes is rescued by the expression of Ctr9Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU.
