Expression of Tm1dsRNA.UAS.A - either alone or in combination with Tm1dsRNA.UAS.L - under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 does not lead to significant border follicle cell migration defects in oocytes relative to controls nor does it affect formation of basal stress fibers in the follicle cells as detected by phalloidin staining. However, when Tm1dsRNA.UAS.L and Tm1dsRNA.UAS.A are expressed simultaneously (driven by Scer\GAL4unspecified) the stress fibre formation is decreased.
Eggs from females expressing both Tm1dsRNA.UAS.A and Tm1dsRNA.UAS.L in random heat-shock clones under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified are often round (not elongated as in wild-type).
