Inhibition (using Ctet\tetXTNT-LC.UAS) of neurons targeted by the split-GAL4 pair of Scer\GAL4DBD.R50D07 and Hsap\RELAAD.R72C08 in adult males does not affect their ability to orient towards and remain close to a female, compared to controls; there is also no effect on following of females or wing extensions, compared to controls.
