The very small pin-like eyes characteristic for flies expressing hpRNA:1^{Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP} (together with Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa) under the combined control of Scer\GAL4^ey.PU and Scer\GAL4^GMR.PU are almost completely rescued by co-expression of ATPsynβ^Scer\UAS.cWa : the size is comparable to controls and the eyes show only mild ommatidial irregularity and fully rescued by co-expression of ATPsynβ^mut.Scer\UAS.
