      The very small pin-like eyes characteristic for flies expressing hpRNA:1Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP (together with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa) under the combined control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU and Scer\GAL4GMR.PU are almost completely rescued by co-expression of ATPsynβScer\UAS.cWa : the size is comparable to controls and the eyes show only mild ommatidial irregularity and fully rescued by co-expression of ATPsynβmut.Scer\UAS.
