      The expression of Chchd2Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU partially rescues the decreased life-span of Chchd2H43 homozygotes and Chchd2null hemizygous males; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU also partially rescues the locomotor defects and the mitochondria morphology defects in indirect flight muscles observed in Chchd2H43 homozygous adults.
