Optogenetic activation (using Cnoc\ChR1Cs.IVS.20xUAS.Venus with 660 nm (red) light) of neurons targeted by the split-GAL4 pair of Scer\GAL4DBD.R15B07 and Hsap\RELAAD.R15F02, or the split-GAL4 pair of Scer\GAL4DBD.R47E12 and Hsap\RELAAD.R15F02, halts forwards locomotion and significantly induces contraction of the abdomen, compared to controls; there is also induction of tail-lifting, not seen in controls.
