      Prosα4T1SK2 mutant adults do not show any overt morphological defects. However, adult males carrying the Prosα4T1SK2 allele over a cognate deficiency as well as Prosα4T1SK2 homozygotes are completely sterile and show defects in spermatid differentiation and fail to complete individualization: The individualization complex becomes completely dispersed during migration and the nuclei of maturing sperm exhibit aberrant morphology in the coiling region, consequently the seminal vesicles are devoid of mature sperm.
