Imprecise excision of P{EPgy2}EY13118 results in a 10.35kb deletion in Rh7.
Estimated breakpoints of a ~10.35 kb deletion resulting from the imprecise excision of P{EPgy2}EY13118 thar removes the Rh7 coding region.
Rh70 homozygous adults reared under 12h:12h white light:dark cycles exhibit a significantly earlier morning activity onset and a significantly longer siesta, but insignificant changes in the evening activity onset, as compared to controls. These mutants show a significant delay in resynchronization to a 6h delay or advance in 12h:12h 470nm light:dark cycle, but not white light or 400nm light:dark cycles, as compared to controls. These mutants become arrhythmic after a few days of constant light, but not constant darkness, as compared to controls.
Rh70 has abnormal locomotor rhythm | adult stage phenotype, enhanceable by cry01/cry01
Rh70, norpAP41 has abnormal circadian behavior | adult stage phenotype, non-enhanceable by cry01/cry01
Rh70/Rh70 is an enhancer of abnormal locomotor rhythm | adult stage phenotype of cry01
Rh70/Rh70 is a non-enhancer of abnormal circadian behavior | adult stage phenotype of cry01, norpAP41
Rh70/Rh70 is a suppressor of abnormal locomotor rhythm | adult stage phenotype of cry01
Rh70, norpAP41 has abnormal circadian behavior | adult stage phenotype
Rh70, cry01 double-homozygous adults exhibit: an earlier morning activity onset as compared to controls, which is more severe than both single mutant; an earlier evening activity onset as compared to controls, instead of the later evening activity onset observed in cry01 mutants; and a longer siesta as compared to controls, which is slightly shorter than that of cry01 mutants. These double mutants do not show any obvious rhythmicity defects after a few days of either constant light or darkness, as compared to controls.
Rh70, norpA39 and cry01, norpA39 double-homozygous adults reared under 12h:12h white light:dark cycles exhibit a significant delay in resynchronizing to a 6h delay in 12h:12h white light:dark cycle compared to controls; these phenotypes are not enhanced by additional cry01 and Rh70 homozygosity, respectively.
