      StingRxn homozygotes infected with DCV show a significantly decreased lifespan and a severe increase in viral load, as compared to infected controls; these mutants also show a significant decrease in lifespan upon infection with CrPV or SINV, but not with FHV, as compared to controls; uninfected individuals do not show consistent changes in lifespan, as compared to controls.
