      The expression of crbintra.UAS.Tag:MYC,EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4ninaE.PTa does not affect the size of the photoreceptor cell stalk membrane but resulted in a collapse of rhabdomere microvilli into the cytoplasm.

      crb11A22 mutants expressing crbintra.UAS.Tag:MYC,EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU show ommatidium defects, with a 'fused rhabdomere' phenotype. crb11A22 mutant photoreceptor cell clones expressing crbintra.UAS.Tag:MYC,EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Tub.PU frequently show more than one rhabdomere.
