      The expression of crbT1283M.UAS under the control of either Scer\GAL4GMR.PU or Scer\GAL4ninaE.PTa leads to a severe enlargement of the photoreceptor cell stalk membrane leading to the formation of large cysts.

      One week of continuous light exposure (light stress) in crb11A22 mutants that also express crbT1283M.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU induces more severe photoreceptor cell defects, including occasional cell death, as compared to crb11A22 single mutants.
