      Expression of pleUAS.m under the control of Scer\GAL4ple.TH-C, Scer\GAL4ple.TH-D or Scer\GAL4ple.PF leads to an increase in the spontaneous locomotion (particularly in proximity to the food with Scer\GAL4ple.PF and away from food with Scer\GAL4ple.TH-D) when compared to control adults. Its expression under the control of Scer\GAL4ple.PF or Scer\GAL4ple.TH-C also leads to an increase in the probability of proboscis extension reflex compared to controls.
