      In pharate adults with abundant Nlg1MI02059-FlpStop.Dlock/Df(3R)BSC747 muscle clones (following Scer\FLP1-mediated inversion of Nlg1MI02059-FlpStop.ND), persistent motor neurons which innervate the abdominal lateral tergosternal muscles display axonal arbor growth defects. In pharate adults with sparse Nlg1MI02059-FlpStop.Dlock/Df(3R)BSC747 muscle clones in a Nlg1MI02059-FlpStop.ND/Df(3R)BSC747 background, axonal branches growing on clonal muscle fibres display growth defects with reduced arbor coverage, while branches from the same neuron growing on non-clonal muscle appear wild-type.
