      RanGAP9 homozygotes show a significant decrease in the number of central brain neuroblasts at the second instar larval stage.

      RanGAP9 neuroblast clones in the third instar larval brain (clones induced at 4h AFH) show a severe reduction in cell number compared to controls, and progressively lose neuroblasts.
