      The pupal eye photoreceptors of pcsΔ1 homozygotes exhibit smaller rhabdomeres and cytoplasmic vesicle accumulations, as compared to controls; the cisternae of Golgi units appear slightly swollen, but are still stacked well; mitochondria and ER are normal.
