      Expression of p53UASp.B under the control of Scer\GAL4VP16.nos.UTR rescues the cell death in germarium after 3 Gy irradiation phenotype and the daily egg production 3 days after 40 Gy irradiation phenotype; it partially rescues the number of germline stem cells after 40 Gy irradiation phenotype; and it fails to rescue the fertility (number of pupa produced per day) after 40 Gy irradiation phenotype of p535A-1-4 females.
