UASt regulates expression of 200 Glycine-Alanine ("GA") dipeptide repeats, representing a translation product of the expanded GGGGCC hexanucleotide repeat from Hsap\C9orf72 that causes Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), tagged with mCherry.
This construct encodes only a dipeptide repeat (comparable to product of repeat-associated non-AUG translation).
