UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of wild-type Hsap\SLC6A3.
UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of Hsap\SLC6A3 coding sequences.
Hsap\SLC6A3UAS.cHa/Scer\GAL4ple.PF is a suppressor of increased rate of movement | adult stage phenotype of DATfmn
Hsap\SLC6A3UAS.cHa/Scer\GAL4ple.PF is a suppressor | partially of abnormal locomotor behavior phenotype of DATfmn
The hyperactivity characteristic for DATfmn adult mutants is suppressed by expression of Hsap\SLC6A3Scer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4ple.PF. The circadian rhythm of the locomotor activity of DATfmn flies is not perturbed by the transgene expression.
Selective expression of Hsap\SLC6A3Scer\UAS.cHa in DA neurons (under the control of Scer\GAL4ple.PF) significantly reduces the hyperactivity found in DATfmn flies.
