Description

Amino acid substitutions R793Q, R554Q and R549Q have been introduced into the endogenous Irp-1A locus; this results in a form of Irp-1A that shows strongly reduced mRNA-binding compared to the wild-type protein. In addition, three copies of the Tag:FLAG tag have been inserted at the C-terminal end of the open reading frame.
