A sequence cassette that encodes the T2A peptide plus the p65(AD)::Zip+ split driver component has been inserted into the endogenous wntD locus, in frame within the first exon. A loxP cassette encoding a Disc\RFPDsRed(T1).3xP3.cHa marker has also been inserted during the mutagenesis event, downstream of the split driver sequence. The presence of the T2A sequence is expected to truncate the endogenous wntD protein and to allow the separate expression of p65(AD)::Zip+ under the control of the endogenous wntD regulatory sequences.
