DNA has been re-integrated into the attP site in the TI{TI}bolKO.attP insertion, reconstituting a bol locus that is missing intron 3. An attR site is present upstream of exon 2 and a loxP site is present downstream of exon 8'. The two major circRNAs that are normally produced from the bol locus (circEx2-3 and circEx4-7) are absent in this mutant, while the levels of linear bol mRNA and bol protein are similar to wild type.
