      The expression of slmbdsRNA.UAS.52 under the control of Scer\GAL4VP16.nos.UTR results in small ovaries, with severe oogenesis defects, few early stage egg chambers, fragmented/spotty synaptonemal complex, abnormal nurse cell chromatin and abnormal karyosome morphology.
