      The expression of wrdUAS.cBa.GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4VP16.nos.UTR induces a distorted karyosome in the oocyte. In addition, the synaptonemal complex is assembled later and disassembled earlier in female germline meiotic cells, as compared to controls.
