Description

679bp deletion that removes the last 513bp of vri exon 1c and 166bp from intron 1. Generated by imprecise excision of P{XP}vrid01873. An 8bp sequence has been inserted within the deleted region, possibly due to a local hop during the excision process. The splice donor site for exon 1c is deleted and RNA-seq analysis indicates that expression of transcripts encoding isoforms A, D and F are eliminated.
