Substitutions and deletions lead to a frame-shift, resulting in a stop codon and 70-peptide fragment.
CCTCGA
Deletion of 8 bases just after the ATG and insertion of 6 bases (CCTCGA) leads to a frameshift.
Lectin-galC1fs/Lectin-galC1fs and Lectin-galC1fs/Df(2L)Exel6043 wandering third instar larvae show shorter peristaltic waves during crawling and shorter rolling time in righting assays. NMJs show increased synapse density and decreased synaptic vesicle density within boutons, particularly closer to the synapse. Electrophysiological recording at the NMJ show increased EJC amplitude and increased mEJC frequency; and decreased EJC amplitudes immediately following high frequency stimulation train initiation, with slower recovery rates.
